Applications are invited from eligible male candidates for the recruitment for the post of Constable (Driver) (Civil Police) in Arunachal Pradesh Police in the pay band of PB-i of Rs.5200-20,200 + Grade pay Rs.20001 under special recruitment

Qualification : 10th pass for General candidates(8th class pass for APST ) from recognized government  Board and Possession of Valid Driving License for LMV/ MMV/ HMV and experience certificate of driving LMV for at least 3 years.

Age Limit: From 18 to 28 years in case of general candidates as on 01-01-2016.

Application Fee : Rs. 10 for General candidates (Rs. 40/- & APST Candidates) through Treasury Challan in favour of Assistant Inspector General of Police (E), PHQ, Itanagar under head of account “0055” Police.
How To Apply: Completed application and attested copies of relevant documents, self attested four recent passport size photograph & treasury challan to the Assistant Inspector General of Police (E), PHQ Itanagar, PO Itanagar PIN-791113 Arunchal Pradesh.

 The posts of GENERAL will be only for the general candidates of domicile districts. The candidate must
possess TRC or PRC or Class-X pass certificate from recognized educational institution of the districts (Tirap,
Longding and Changlang) in which he applies.
2. AGE ELIGIBLITY:-. The age of candidate should be between 18 to 28 years as on 01-01-2016. Relaxation of upper age
limit for APST candidates is given up to maximum of 5 (five) years.

NB: The candidates should be free from physical deformity/infirmity like squint eye, colour blindness, knock knee, bow leg,
dismembered fingers and any other physical deformity/infirmity which is likely to cause impediment to performance of active duty
in police force. The candidates with such deformity/infirmity will be rejected during the Physical standards Test (PST).
3. CENTRE FOR RECRUITMENT:- The recruitment for the post of Constable (Dvr)) will be conducted centrally at
Deomali, Tirap District, AP.
4. EDUCATIONAL STANDARD AND OTHER QUALIFICATION: -
I) Minimum educational qualification is Class-VIII Passed for APST and Class X passed for General candidates
from recognized government institution/board as on the date of submission of application.
II) Possession of valid driving license for LMV/ MMV/ HMV.
Ill) Experience certificate of driving LMV for at least 3 (three) years.

8. SELECTION PROCEDURE:-
i. PHYSICAL ENDURANCE/EFFICIENCY TEST:- The short listed candidates whose application/documents are
found in order in all respects and who are found fit in Physical Standard Test (PST) will be put through physical
efficiency test in the following events:
