60 Jobs in Assam Police for the post of Jr Assistants and 10 posts are for Stenographer Grade III. Both of these posts are under the pay scale of Rs.5200-20200/- with grade pay of Rs.2200 and Rs.2900/- respectively.
Eligibility criteria: Pass in HSLC Examination is essential for both the positions. Along with this qualification, candidates applying for the post of Junior Assistant should should posses diploma in type writing/ computer. While National Trade Certificate with 80 wpm in English Stenography is required for the post of Stenographer. Candidates age should be above 18 years and even should be below 38 years.
Selection will be through written test and typing test. Written test will be of 100 marks and questions will be based on essay writing, grammar, comprehension and general knowledge. After this shortlisted candidates will be called for tying test and interview.
