Public Service Commission of Tamil Nadu (TNPSC) announced a big recruitment notification. According to this notification TNPSC will conduct group IV written exam for Junior Assistant, Bill Collector, Typist, Steno typist, Field Surveyor & Draftsman positions. Selected candidates will be placed at various government departments of Tamil Nadu. TNPSC Group IV Exam 2012 details
1. Junior Assistant (Security / Non Security): Total 5157 jobs, out of these 4865 jobs under non security category and 292 for security category.
2. Bill Collector: 31 jobs
3. Typist: 3674 jobs
4. Steno typist: 1128 jobs
5. Field Surveyor: 326 jobs
6. Draftsman: 402 jobs
Eligibility: Candidates age should be between 18–30. Candidates belongs to reserved category will get relaxation as per rules. Candidates should have passed SSLC public examination. Certificate course in Computer on Office Automation awarded by Technical education Department is essential for the post of Typist and Steno Typist. Perfect Knowledge of Tamil language is also necessary for all the above posts.
Selection: Written test will be arranged at various examination centre across the country selected at the time of online registration. Duration of written test is 3 hours. According to the marks / performance, best candidates will be selected by the TNPSC.
