Department of Technical Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh is invitng applications for admission into Diploma in Garment Technology (DGT) for the year 2011-12. Duration of the course is 3 years. Interested candidates can download application form from the website dteap.nic.in/Notifications.aspx . Following are details of eligibility, fee and application procedure:
Diploma in Garment Technology: Eligibility: Applicants should have passed in SSC or its equivalent examination. The course is offered in the following Govt. / Aided Polytechnics:
1. Govt. Polytechnic for Women (Minorities), L.B. Nagar, R.R. District - 500068. Contact No: 99123 42087.
2. Govt. Polytechnic for Women, Gujjangulla, Guntur- 522006. Phone: 99123 42015.
3. Kamala Nehru Polytechnic for Women, Exhibition Grounds, Nampally, Hyderabad- 500001. Contact No: 99123 42003.
Interested candidates can take a print out of the application available on the website or also at the concerned institute. Filled in applications should be submitted along with relevant documents to the respective Principals of the institutions by enclosing a DD for an amount of Rs. 310 drawn in favour of 'Secretary, SBTET, AP, Hyderabad, payable at Hyderabad. Last date for the submission of completed applications is 10th August 2011.
The eligible candidates have to attend the Admission Counseling with all the original certificates and fee of Rs. 3800 (to be fixed by the Government at the time of admissions) at the respective polytechnic on 11th August 2011 at 10 AM.
