EAMCET 2012

EAMCET, which stands for Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test, is an entrance examination required for admission to engineering and medical colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. Other colleges offering graduation courses like BDS, B.Pharm., BSc., Pharm.D. etc. too require qualification in this exam.
EAMCET 2012 is scheduled to be held on: 12 May 2012 (Saturday).
Eligibility to appear for EAMCET 2012

The minimum eligibility required to appear for EAMCET are:

    * A Pass in intermediate examination or registered for intermediate public examination (10 + 2 ) conducted by the A.P. Board of Intermediate Education, with appropriate optional subjects or its equivalent.
    * In case of such students who appear for the entrance test, pending result of their qualifying examination, their entry shall be subject to their securing a pass in the said qualifying examination.
    * Candidates should belong to the State of Andhra Pradesh as defined in the A.P. Educational Institutions (regulations for admission).
    * There is no upper age limit for Medical and Engineering aspirants to take EAMCET.

This year EAMCET will be conducted by JNTU Hyderabad, important details are yet to be updated by APSCHE, we will update as the information on application forms and dates for submission are made available.

This year EAMCET forms are likely to be available only online; APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education) has already collected data of all Intermediate students. Applicant only needs to enter his or her Intermediate hall ticket number the data will be filled automatically except for few fields.


EAMCET-2012(Engineering ,Agricultural and Medicine Common Entrance Test ) would be conducted on May 12 by JNTU on behalf of APSCHE. The test would be conducted from 10 a.m to 1p.m for engineering stream and 2:30 p.m to 5:30 p.m for agriculture and medicine streams.Notification would appear on Feb 10 2012.The applications will be accepted only in the online mode from Feb 12 to March 28. Aspirants can fill the application through online only.

Registration Fee: Aspirants can pay the registration fee either through debit or credit cards or through AP Online, eSeva, Mee Seva, or Post Office centres.
Note:Students will be allowed to make corrections if any, in the application forms from April 1 to 10 with a penalty of Rs 1,000/-, applications will be accepted till April 19 with a penalty of Rs 5,000/-, students can submit applications till April 25 and with a penalty of Rs 10,000/- till May 9.
